GRAWA and MCBA Partner to Offer CLE on Covenants Not To Compete

Over 75 people attended GRAWA's commercial litigation CLE , “A View from the Bench: Covenants-Not-to-Compete and Equitable Relief” featuring New York Supreme Court Justices Honorable Evelyn Frazee and Honorable Kenneth R. Fisher. Elizabeth A. Wolford moderated the event held on November 15, 2005, which was presented in conjunction with the Monroe County Bar Association.

Attendees included transaction and litigation attorneys anxious to learn more about the complexities of seeking equitable relief as well as case law analyzing the scope and applicability of covenants-not-to-compete. They were not disappointed. In addition to substantive discussions, the presenters provided helpful insight into practical aspects of such claims, including what to provide the court and judicial assignment issues.

Furthermore, the judges provided over 80 pages of helpful written materials which by themselves were worth the price of admission!
